Interviewer: What was the outcome of your case?
Client: Exactly what I wanted it to be. It was a process, and I've been dealing with this case for two years. I wanted joint decision-making. I wanted to be able to be involved in "\_\_\_\_\_'s education and her medical and her religion. At the end of the day, that's where we're at.
Brenda basically got her to move back to Ontario because we determined that she had moved out there illegally. So we fought that in court. We won that one. Brenda was absolutely amazing in court. She lives back in London now, and I'm fully involved. We have joint decision-making, and everything is perfect now.
Interviewer: What does it mean for you to have gotten your outcome?
Client: Everything. The sleepless nights. It was insane. I was at rock bottom. I've never felt that way in my entire life, and I don't wish it on my worst enemy.
A lot of it was trying to deal with how to keep my son from falling into a bad place. He was young. You can't expect kids to understand anything like this. He's never been through anything like that before.

Client: It was insane. I couldn't believe it. Those lawyers that you see in movies or on TV shows, they're just crushing the courtroom. She's just like that. She demands your attention, and she gets it. She's very well known in the London court system. When she enters the room, everybody sits and watches.
Just listening to her speak and how she deals with the judge. She's always got an answer for everything that is brought her way. She's got to be up there as one of the best in the London area. She has to be. There's no way there are many people that are better than her.
Interviewer: What would you tell me if I was thinking of hiring Family Law Group, but I thought they were too expensive?
Client: I spent a lot of money with the Family Law Group. I almost hate talking about how much. You can't put a price on family. It's impossible. And I've always lived by that. If I have the means to pay for it, I will, if it comes to family.
Yeah, you're going to pay a little extra. Maybe your case is complicated. If it is complicated, you're going to want a really good lawyer. You're not going to want to hire somebody who doesn't study a lot of family law. The one lawyer I met with was kind of a jack-of-all-trades as far as the law goes but not really a master in any. I wouldn't hire a lawyer like that in a complicated case.
If it was a quick, easy divorce and everybody's already agreed to stuff, then yeah, maybe hire that cheaper lawyer. As far as a complicated case, I would go to Brenda or the Family Law Group because they will get the job done.
