I was always happy to pay for their services. Without question, I would recommend them.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They are expensive, but I don't think they're more expensive than another good lawyer. So it's not per se that Family Law Group is expensive. The process is expensive. So if you're going to spend the money and you need a lawyer, use them. The two things are separate to me. Do I love the fact that it cost me so much money? No. Do I love the fact that it didn't pan out the way I wanted it to? No, I don't love that. And there were times when I was getting bills, I was thinking, are you freaking kidding me? This has been going on for so long. But that wasn't about them. I was always happy to pay for their services. I was just frustrated that the process was taking so long because of my ex-husband.
I have a friend of mine who I just ran into the other day, and she and her husband are getting separated. And she said, "Oh yeah, the legal stuff is getting really complicated." And I said, "I have a really good lawyer if you want one." And she said, "I've just signed a retainer or signed with somebody. And I said, okay, so just make sure you dot your I's and cross your T's because it's a big undertaking, and it's overwhelming when you're going through the divorce part, to begin with, to then have to be concentrating on what nights so and so slept here and how much did you pay for this or that." I've had to keep records for 15 years. It's insane.
Without question, I would recommend them. But I would also preface it by saying it doesn't matter whether it's Family Law Group or anything else. Getting divorced is expensive.
