Because of what was negotiated and then pushed to be completed, my son’s going to benefit.
I got a lot more, clearly, at the Family Law Group than I did with my prior experience with the other law firm. I got pretty much close to as much as I could have gotten. Even though we didn't think that it was necessarily an achievable feat, we did get one thing that was very important to me. That did get achieved. We went beyond what we thought we could have got. And it was one of the things that I had the highest importance for. It was in regard to specific custody of my child. I'm trying to aim for his safety and well-being and stuff like that. She was very clear on how it can go, but we still managed to achieve that anyway. I'm still very satisfied that I got some of the things that I thought were the most important to me.
If it's the expense, it's the whole, "You get what you pay for." If you have to do the same thing over four hours, that can be accomplished in half an hour... Then tell me which is better for everybody.
I don't think it would have been able to get accomplished anywhere else. I got a lot of things accomplished. I would highly recommend them. I definitely think that when it comes to certain things, you will get what you pay for.
I wish more law firms would conduct themselves in regard to family law, like the Family Law Group. Because then the process would be a lot more efficient and faster. There would be a lot less nonsense and game-playing. I liked the straightforwardness of trying to get things done and trying to get things resolved.
Dealing with the opposite, I felt like it was a lot of tactics and game-playing. And it's a negotiating tactic. You're trying to drive the other side basically nuts with stuff. He will have some advantages when he's older in regards to not having to worry about certain obstacles when it comes to post-secondary. I'm happy about that. I'm very happy.
