They always gave me options of where this could take us from each step.

Interviewer: At what point did you feel confident, like, okay, I'm in good hands, Kaila knows what she's doing?

Client: Probably after the first letter that was sent out to him and his lawyer.

Interviewer: What was it about that letter that gave you confidence?

Client: The wording and how she was going about it. She was strong, but she didn't take it away that they would get their backup. She approached it with a very much let's negotiate, let's come together type of thing versus going in there and trying to strong-will everybody into whatever we want, which wouldn't have worked anyway.

Client: Throughout the process, she and her assistants were really good at keeping me appraised of what was going on. There was a long delay between him not responding, but even with that, they would message and say, just to keep you posted, nothing has been updated on our end. Just so they know I wasn't waiting on them. We were always waiting on him, which was nice. Just knowing that I wasn't waiting around for them to do stuff was nice.

Client: I was confident as much confidence as I could have in the situation at the time. Every time we came up against another roadblock, they were very good at, "Here's our worst case scenario, here is what we're hoping for and here's the middle of the road." They always gave me options of where this could take us from each step.
