Professionalism
So professional that she'd reply on a Sunday. And I'm like, "Oh wow."

She saved me big time, Brenda. I'll explain. I said, "Brenda, I don't know how I'm going to pay you. I'm paying for everything at the house. Plus my debt. Plus you. Plus the line of credit. How am I supposed..." What Brenda did was I signed a direction as they call it. Meaning when the house either sells or gets bought out, she will get her money from my portion of the sale of the house. I'm like, "Thank God." I had my house to bank on. I owe Brenda huge. I thanked her so much for that. I give her a 10 out of 10 on that. She saved me huge. I don't know if many lawyers do that or not, but she did. So that was awesome.
I'd always thank them. "Thanks, Brenda, for all your hard work." Because I know how hard they work. I couldn't imagine doing this. You should see the documents. Hundreds and hundreds of pages, not a stone unturned. It's very tough stuff that they do.
I had a great relationship with the law clerk. Amazing. I would call her a lot because, with your lawyer, you've got to set up appointments. The service was amazing. She would call back all the time and email back. No negatives about the service at all. From the front desk right to the top lawyer. All good.
Super good at what they do. No issues there. They're really good.
Overall, the service was amazing. When you're going through something like this for this long, there's going to be ups and downs because we're all human. And it's a high-stress environment, a high-stress situation. But yeah, she was very competent. They're very professional. So professional that she'd reply on a Sunday. And I'm like, "Oh wow." And she still does.
Amazing. I've never hired a lawyer to compare to but seeing the lawyer we went up against at the settlement conference... I remember saying to Brenda, "Wow, that guy's a joke. You're going to eat him alive." You could see it. The professionalism. The confidence. Brenda's very good. She's a shark, don't mess with her. That's the impression I get. She would eat anybody alive in court. I think that's why my ex probably signed before the trial. I don't think she wanted to go through that. It would have been tough.
But like a judge did say, "You definitely don't want to go to trial. If you guys think you don't get along now, it'll be even way worse if you go to trial. So trust your lawyers. Let your lawyers figure it out. Try your best to agree." Which thank God we did.
That's why I like Brenda. She knows. Honestly, if you ever met her, you'd be like, "Okay, I get it."
