Ease & Simplicity

There was always the flexibility that we could work around my schedule.

It's been a pretty quick process for us to get through our separation agreement. This has all happened within the last four months, five months or so. It's all post-COVID, but we still had the luxury of doing things virtually. And the only time I ever had to go in was to show my face to the receptionist in order to verify my identity. It was pretty seamless. The interactions fit my schedule.

Everything came through in a timely fashion, was never expected to or forced to carve out time that would take away from my livelihood or my family. There was always the flexibility that we could work around my schedule and make something fit and something work. And it was never time-sensitive that we needed to adjust any of my scheduling, or hers for that matter, to fit my needs.

Easy. I walked right in. Flashed my ID. She looked at me. It was good. That was it. She took care of the rest. The admin secretary at the front and then Kaila's own secretary or second in command, Jaclin, was always quick to respond to messages that were always forwarded between the three of us. So, she was always on top of it as much as Kaila was.

In the end, having Kaila's legal expertise and experience to review our separation agreement that my wife and I put together to ensure that we weren't overlooking anything or that there was nothing out of sorts. Fortunately, maybe it didn't turn out to be as exciting or engaging as other clients' cases would maybe be for Kaila. But once we clarified what my goals were, she was willing to hear that and agreed to represent me in that fashion. There wasn't a whole lot on her plate other than to help me review. Make a few key revisions to the agreement to streamline it a little bit and then help to sign off and give credibility to the document.
