Interviewer: Do you feel that they were able to put your mind at ease?

Client: Yes, 100%. Any question I had, whether it was through email or if I called with a question, was responded to quickly. And if one of them was off on vacation or away, the other one got back to me right away, which was amazing for Kaila herself to reach back out when her assistant was away. I was very impressed with that because she didn't have to do that either. There was nothing that couldn't wait until Jaclin got back in a week. But to take into consideration your client's feelings of, if I don't get back to them, this could cause stress or anxiety in an already such a stressful, anxious situation. I very much appreciated their quick replies and responses because they just eased my mind and put my stress to the side. It was great. And totally unexpected from what you see on TV or read and all that stuff.

Client: Amazing. I have nothing bad to say. Everything was always simple. Everything was explained in simple, straightforward terms. They went over the separation agreement, which obviously had legal terms in it, but went over it. Kaila did it in person, on the Zoom platform and made sure everything was understood before I signed anything. And if I had one part that I didn't understand and Jaclin, her assistant, explained it, and that was great, I have nothing bad to say about them. So yeah, it was wonderful.

Client: It's very smooth because I live about 45 minutes from their office, so the fact that I could do things on the phone and whatever platform they use was wonderful, and I don't think it took away anything from the lawyer-client connection either. That doesn't suit everybody, and it doesn't always suit me either, but in this situation, I felt that it didn't take anything away, and they were always very open to me. If you want to come into the office, you certainly can. And I'm like, "No, if we can do it online, it saves me driving 45 minutes one way."

Client: Very convenient. And you could do it on the phone. You could do it on a video chat. You could come into the office. Lots of options were given for how you wanted to do the meeting. So that was great too because some people choose a certain way that suits them.
