Communication & Responsiveness

Anything to do with kids, they would get back to you right away.

One thing I will say that's really awesome, too, is she does email me on a Saturday or a Sunday. It could be eight o'clock at night. Sometimes, she'd respond on a Sunday afternoon.

Urgent matters, ASAP. Anything to do with kids, they would get back to you right away. Brenda would send a letter, "Advise your client not to remove the kids from the house." And if she does... Instantly. But if it was like, "Brenda, if we go to trial, what are my chances..." That's not really urgent. They must get hundreds of emails. I know how many I was sending, and I'm just one client. In an hour, you'd probably get a hundred emails. They probably sift through them, and any urgent ones, they would respond to them right away.

Other times, I'd maybe send an email on a Wednesday, nothing urgent. I probably forget about it by Friday, and then boom, Sunday, she'd respond about it. I'm like, "Oh, okay, cool." So she would respond all the time, but it all depended on urgency. And that comes with experience. She's been doing this, I think, 27 or 28 years. She knows what's urgent and what's not. But when you're going through it, and you're the one going through the divorce, and paying the finances and doing all this, everything's urgent.
