I felt like she definitely commanded my attention and my respect from the get-go.
If I were telling a friend, I would probably say she's a very shoot-from-the-hip kind of person which I am as well. So her straightforwardness and her very direct manner were good for me. I used the word stern earlier, and I guess that can have different connotations, but when I say stern, I mean, she's not a wilting flower. I never felt like she was this super soft-spoken, pushover kind of person. I felt like she definitely commanded my attention and my respect from the get-go.
