Somebody who would look out for my best interest and protect my money.
Client: Family Law Group was recommended by a close friend who had used them, so I figured they would be okay since I now knew somebody with prior experience with them. A totally different lawyer but the same firm.
Interviewer: When your friend recommended the Family Law Group, do you remember what she said to you?
Client: She recommended two different firms, and the first one was the Family Law Group. And she said, "If you want a firm that's going to protect you and your best interest, they will be bulldogs for what you want. The other one, who I don't even remember who it was, and it doesn't matter, was more, "We'll work with you and your ex and try and come to an agreement." Which is what I had wanted to do, but I also wanted somebody who would look out for my best interest and protect my money, and my rights with my kids. And actually listen to what I was saying and listen to the agreement that myself and my spouse had come up with and not pass their judgment or put their two cents into it without being asked to. The best description was she described them as a bulldog law firm that would look out for me and the place I was at. That sounded just perfect.
Client: I read some of the reviews. They all sounded really good. Now there's a big group of lawyers that worked there, so I had no idea when I called who I was going to be paired with. But most of the reviews sounded great, and I really took this person's opinion to heart, so mostly based on her recommendation. But I'm also somebody that likes to make my own judgment, too. Booking that initial consultation, if I had not liked Kaila, then I would have gone somewhere else.
