Interviewer: Before the Family Law Group. Did you have any experience with lawyers?

Client: Yeah, I had a divorce lawyer with my previous marriage.

Interviewer: Can you tell me about your general impression of lawyers as a whole?

Client: Utmost respect for the work that they do. It's a difficult spot to be in as a lawyer when you have a client like myself, and I'm talking from early on where emotions or other thoughts on issues may conflict with what the legal advice ends up being. And then, when a client doesn't fall in line with what the lawyer would recommend, I think it puts the lawyer in a tough spot because I think they understand we're all individuals. But in my previous experience, I probably didn't follow the recommendations the way I should have, whereas in this one, Kaila was willing to hear me out. But overall, I think that a lawyer is in a tough spot as a human being to have their standpoint based on their position on a case and yet still have their own human thoughts, emotions, ideas, and opinions on things and how they separate that it's got to be a tough spot.
