Before the final divorce lawyer, I had been through three or four different lawyers who weren't cutting it.
Interviewer: Did you have any experience with lawyers prior to Family Law Group?
Client: Yes, quite a few. This case with Lisa Walters was over some expenses associated with the kids and child support that wasn't paid. But I got divorced about eleven years ago, so when that happened, I had a divorce lawyer. Before the final divorce lawyer, I had been through three or four different lawyers who weren't cutting it. So I finally landed with Alf Mamo, who at the time was a big divorce lawyer in London.
Client: My experiences, in general, with lawyers have all been related to my divorce case, so it's a little bit difficult to say without feeling prejudiced against why I was even going to court or having a lawyer in the first place. But with the other lawyers I had worked with before Family Law Group, I felt like I was just a number in the chain. I wasn't always sure that they were in it for my best interest, whereas with Family Law Group, I always felt like they had their finger on the pulse. Even though part of our case sat without anything happening for two years because of COVID, they were right back at it when they could and had all the facts in line.
