You just need to know that someone's actually there for you and you're not just an email.
I'm a one-on-one person. I like speaking to people face to face. And I know with COVID, we could not do that. And then when I did ask to come in during the mediation process, because she's like, well, you don't have to. You can stay home and do it from there. And I was like, no, I would prefer to come in because I want to meet you. First of all, I want to be a person to you. I don't want to just be an email to you. I want you to see who I am so that you will fight for me. Because I felt at times like I just didn't know her. And so when we met, I felt it was good. And so, as much as people want to do one-on-one like, in person, or even at least Zoom to make sure that they keep that up, because face time not the brand, but actual face time for me, that's what I want in a lawyer because it is such a traumatic experience. You just need to know that someone's actually there for you and you're not just an email.
