Just a reassurance that I got from him that he's going to work with me.
Interviewer: What did you guys cover in your first consultation?
Client: What's the situation? How many years have you been together? What do you own? A house together? Kids, pets? What do I do for a living? Talked about the retainer fee. He talked about the rules of how it all works, the charges. Like, every time they read an email, every time they have to print something, it's this charge. That he works with Kelly, and Kelly will be back and forth but CC me on all communication.
Client: I think it lasted about half an hour. He sounded very mature to me, very bright, very brilliant. Not like my real estate lawyer he has such an old, deep, grumpy voice. Dan was like 100% the opposite of that. I couldn't guess his age. I'm terrible at that. So you can't see him because it's all on the phone. It's not Zoom. So I had no idea what this man looked like, but I just trusted his voice. There was just something about... Like, I could easily communicate with him. He was just an excellent listener. Excellent listener.
