Client: Internet. I just searched along with what I thought my best fit would be. I spoke to a couple of different lawyers and firms, trying to get a sense if I wanted to go in a different direction. I knew I could always go back to my previous family lawyer, but just given a new case and a new time in my life, I thought I'd seek out a different perspective. I knew that my ex-wife and I were wanting to do a lot of stuff on our own without direct hands-on work by our lawyers. So I was just looking at fee structure primarily because I know how much it costs constantly to have the work of a lawyer and all their team do on your behalf. So I was looking for cost, obviously, but I'm just talking about my case and what I wanted out of it. I settled on Family Law Group after investigating a few different ones.
