One of my coworkers that I am friends with, had gone through a separation as well, and I know he used a lawyer. It wasn't just off Google kind of thing. So I reached out to him and said, who did you use? And he actually, very funny, said to me, "I'm not going to tell you who I used. I'm going to tell you who my ex used because they were freaking awesome." And I said, "That's the one I want."
I trust this guy fully and know what he came out of it with. So I was like, "Yeah." Also, my uncle is a lawyer, and I probably could have gone through him, but I chose not to.
