Client: I never wanted to get into a position where I had to get a lawyer against the person I had children with and married. I didn't like the idea of doing any of those things. She gave me that reassurance that financial disclosure is super important. It's easier to do it in a separation agreement instead of having to do it when you're at that point of getting divorced. So, I didn't want to go that route. But she definitely answered a lot of questions. I had lots of questions. I had lots of concerns. She told me straight up, at that point, that likely I wasn't going to be entitled to spousal support, but it ended up being the complete opposite, which was great.

Interviewer: What did you find most useful during your consultation?

Client: Understanding how much things were going to cost and that there was hope. That I wasn't going to lose everything. There's something that can be done at a cost. There's a cost. And that was like my biggest concern: Where do I get my money from to do this?
