I didn't think we would be able to go through mediation.

Client: My ex and I had split up, and my accountant had mentioned during tax time that I should get a separation agreement. That way we had everything squared away for the kids. It would be good to have, just in case anything ever happened. I was fine with that.
Client: I just looked up if we needed a lawyer. My ex and I had talked about mediation, and I looked into what the difference was. But I didn't think we would be able to go through mediation without getting into a fight or having to actually get a lawyer in the end.
Interviewer: When you were doing this research online, what were you most concerned about?
Client: Just how long it would take or finding somebody that would be compatible with.
