I was ending a relationship that made me feel like my safety was at risk with the father of my child. He refused to leave my home, so I actually had to take my son and move out of my home into my mother's for a few weeks. He would yell and berate me from the minute I woke up to the minute I hopped in my car. Then he's calling and texting me my whole drive because it's about an hour's drive from where I live to London. And then, the whole time I was at work, he was lighting up my phone, yelling at me because I was not answering him. And then I would get it my whole way home to the point that I actually visualized myself driving my car off the side of the highway and wrapping it around a tree and just ending my life. I needed to obtain an order of trespass to have him removed from my home and then to start legal proceedings for custody of my child.
